JULY PROGRAMS & EVENTS

> ANNUAL SOUTH HAVEN GARDEN WALK: Saturday, July 10th, 10 AM-4PM: The South Haven Garden Club was first organized in 1930 by a group of likeminded plant enthusiasts. Join in this annual tradition, showcasing the area's best gardens. The Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum The Liberty Hyde Bailey Museum will host refreshments and the Boutique.

> NEW free PROGRAM! Brunch at the Bailey’s, Good Coffee & Conversation: July 16TH, 10-11AM: Topic, The History of the Bailey Home. Join us for some good local coffee, local pastries and local conversation in the reconstructed woodshed with Director, John Stempien. Check out additional times this summer each Friday through August 6th!

 > NEW PROGRAM! BLUEBERRY ICE-CREAM FESTIVAL: Saturday, July 17th, 2PM-4PM: Bring the family and taste the season's best! Locally grown blueberries adorn locally made ice-cream. Being ecological never tasted so good! $5 suggested donation.

> BROWN BAG BIOLOGY/LUNCH & LECTURE: Wednesday, July 21th, 12:30-1:30 PM: Come to sit under the museum's historic Walnut Tree with your lunch for the free program that started it all! Topic: "What Would Bailey Plant?"

> NEW free PROGRAM! Brunch at the Bailey’s, Good Coffee & Conversation: Friday, July 23rd, 10-11AM: Topic, Bailey's Nature Study. Long before No Child Left Inside and Rachel Carson came the nature study movement.  Find out what Bailey meant by putting one in sympathy with their environment.

> BROWN BAG BIOLOGY/LUNCH & LECTURE: Wednesday, July 28th, 12:30-1:30 PM: Topic to be announced.

> NEW free PROGRAM! Brunch at the Bailey’s, Good Coffee & Conversation: Friday, July 30th, 10-11AM: Topic, Evolution−What did Bailey Think?  Born just shortly after Darwin's publication of Origin of Species, how did Bailey view evolution? You may be surprised.

> SOUTH HAVEN GARDEN CLUB FLOWER SHOW: Thursday, August 12th, 1PM-5PM:  More information to come!
